Lindsay Czarniak and Lolo Jones interview Dr. Natalie Brown, a British researcher who specializes in the study of how menstrual cycles affect performance. Together they learn about how women's hormonal changes during their menstrual cycle affect their nutrition and other aspects of their training.
Later they are joined by Paralympic Swimmer Mallory Weggemann and 3-time Paralympic Volleyball player turned NBC analyst Kari Miller-Ortiz for a roundtable discussion to preview the Paralympics. Mallory and Kari talk about overcoming the barriers facing women athletes in Paralympic events, and remind listeners that "we are one Team USA."
