You wake up, but you can’t move. Your chest feels heavy, your voice won’t work, and there’s a sense that you’re not alone. Sleep paralysis, for many of our listeners, is where their most unsettling experiences begin.

Stories include:

• A listener who repeatedly wakes during paralysis contorted into impossible positions, as if something has physically moved them A couple whose sleep experiences begin to overlap, as one partner’s recurring entity bleeds into the other’s nightmares

• A childhood bedroom transforming into a western saloon during a vivid episode

• A shadowy figure that restrains a listener and destroys a protective necklace

• A sleep paralysis encounter escalates when a listener is dragged across the bed
