In this special end-of-year episode, I'm doing a roundup of answers to my favorite podcast guest question: "What do you think the best thing is about being in midlife?" I'll start with my own answer - the best thing about midlife is truly not caring what people think! 

The answers from this year's guests reveal powerful common themes. By far, the most celebrated aspect of midlife is the freedom from caring what others think - and that universal "gift of menopause" where we finally stop giving a f**k about others' opinions. Many guests spoke about the incredible wisdom and perspective that comes with age, allowing them to navigate life's challenges with more ease and clarity. They highlighted the joy of being authentic without apology, the ability to confidently say "no," and the deep self-acceptance that emerges in this stage of life. 

Several guests emphasized feeling more beautiful and empowered than ever before, while others celebrated the slower pace and intentional choices they're now making. Perhaps most powerfully, many guests shared that they've never felt better - they're finally comfortable in their own skin, enjoying richer relationships, and trusting their intuition in ways they couldn't in their younger years. What I see universally is women stepping fully into their power, wisdom, and authentic selves. Whoo hoo this is what #YNTFO is all about!
