There is a new theater producer in Pittsburgh!
Hailing from Orlando, Florida, producer and director Jeremy Seghers and actor Sam Lander talk about their upcoming performance of "The Trial" by Franz Kafka. Jeremy talks about how this newer adaptation of Kafka's novel found him, and why he decided to produce it as his first production in Pittsburgh. Jeremy also talks about the history of the novel over 100 years.

Jeremy talks about how this newer adaptation of Kafka's novel found him, and why he decided to produce it as his first production in Pittsburgh. Jeremy also talks about the history of the novel over 100 years.
Sam met Jeremy while acting in Prime Stage Theatre's "Great Expectations" last year. Sam talks about his character, Josef K, and how he approaches the character. Jeremy found most of the actor's through recommendations or by watching other shows in town. Sam and Jeremy both talk about their own experiences traveling around before settling in Pittsburgh.
They hope people come to see this German surrealist play and experience some thought provoking art.
You can see "The Trial" from Thursday, June 26th to Sunday, June 29th at the Richard E. Rauh Studio Theatre in the Cathedral of Learning. Tickets are $35 for adults, and $25 for students!
