Today our host Lori La Bey will be talking with the Chief Medical Officer at Cortexyme, Dr. Michael Detke.  Cortexyme is a bio tech company that is developing therapies targeting bacteria P. gingivalis, commonly associated with gum disease, that can infect the brain and cause Alzheimer’s disease.  Dr. Detke is a board-certified psychiatrist and has been involved in clinical drug research and development for more than 20 years, having trained in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
