The human brain is an exquisitely complex organ, and it’s capable of some pretty bizarre stuff. I can relate to this—whenever my husband has a kidney stone, I always feel pain in exactly the same place. People have been known to wake up speaking foreign languages that they never actually learned. My point is, our minds are amazing, and they’re not always on our team.
