Warner Music Group and Spotify have entered into a new partnership|DMX Feature

Warner Music Group and Spotify have entered into a new partnership that will see the two companies develop a series of original podcasts built around WMG’s extensive and diverse artists’ and songwriters’ catalogs.  The news follows Warner Music Group’s recent launch of the BLK In America podcast by Spotify, which sees artists like Rico Nasty, Chaka Khan, and Keedron Bryant discussing what it means to be Black in America.  Top Buzzing in the UK, USA and Canada is Rapstar by Polo G  but the top song in the UK, US and Canada is Montero by Lil Nas X  In the Caribbean  Virgin by Jah Vinci at number 5 in Jamaica   All Dat by Intence at number 4  Dancehall Baddest by Rygin King at number 3  Roll Deep by 10Tick at number 2  and Ambition by Yaksta spending a third week at number 1 in Jamaica and number 2 in the Cayman Islands.  Rags to Riches by teejay is number one in Trinidad  On Spotify global 200 Peaches by Justin Beiber, Daniel Ceasar and Giveon is the top song with 52 million streams.  On the Billboard hot100 Leave The Door Open by Sonic Silk Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak is the top song and debuting on the chart is Deja Vu by Olivia Rodrigo  On the 200 albums chart: Justin by Justin Beiber is number one and at number 2 is Dancing with the Devil: The art of Starting Over by Demi Levato   The featured artist is DMX: The rapper and actor passed away recently at age 50.   During his career DMX the first artist to debut an album at No. 1 five times in a row on the Billboard 200 charts. He sold over 74 million records worldwide.  He starred in several films such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave, and Last Hour. In 2003, he published a book of his memoirs entitled, E.A.R.L.: The Autobiography of DMX.  He has 1.4 billion Pandora plays and 360M Youtube streams in the last year.
