The Chicago Bears are already making moves to the roster. Cutting players now gives them ample opportunity to sign with other teams earlier.

Ian Cunningham was a finalist for the Jacksonville Jaguars general manager position. Many wanted to see him receive the gig to give the Bears an extra third-round pick in 2025 and another extra third-round pick in 2026.

That did not happen though as Cunningham is sticking around.

The Chicago Bears have a lot of holes to fill and the team needs to find players who not only meet their salary investments but, also exceed them.

They especially need help in the trenches.

Will the additional money they received from cutting two key players on the 2024 roster be everything Poles and Ben Johnson need to make a serious run in 2025?
