49ers beat Rams & face Giants next, Jets struggle, RBs get injured:The Deep Dig-A Sports Pod EP57

In this episode of the pod, Drew and Dee dig into the San Francisco 49ers 7 point win over the Los Angeles Rams. The team looked good despite what many consider to be Brock Purdy's worst game as a starter. The Rams looked better than expected and had a backdoor cover which had many asking was this a call from the NFL for the Rams to cover the spread?

The 49ers look forward to the Giants as their home opener on Thursday Night Football, which Drew and Dee will be attending. Do the Giants have a chance to pull off a primetime upset or will it be another dominating performance for the 49ers? 

The New York Jets really struggled against the Dallas Cowboys in week 2. Zach Wilson threw 3 interceptions and the team seemed really rattled. After the game Breece Hall said the reason they lost was because he only had 4 touches , Sauce Gardener was so frustrated he deleted his twitter and the team needs to look at other options at QB.

Nick Chubb becomes the latest NFL Running back to become injured this season after a bad looking leg injury on Monday Night Football.The NFL has filed a grievance against the NFLPA stating that they have advised Running Backs to fake injuries. The PA has denied these claims and said this is just the nature of the position. Something needs to be done because fans want to see the best players on the field. 

Colorado took on Colorado State in what many consider the game of the year so far in college football. Deion Sanders responds to coach Jay Norvell's criticisms and beats them in double OT. Shedeur Sanders led a 98 yard drive to tie the game in the 4th quarter and Shilo Sanders had a pick 6 and a critical PBU down the stretch. Travis Hunter had to leave the game after a dirty hit he later said that he suffered a lacerated liver and will be out 3 weeks. Is Colorado a real contender or did this game prove they are still a ways away from the playoffs?
