Ruim tien jaar geleden probeerde ik de termen links en rechts al af te schaffen in het beleidsplan waarmee PowNed werd toegelaten tot de NPO. Uit onderzoek bleek dat de leden bestaande tv-programma's te links vonden, alhoewel links en rechts achterhaalde begrippen zijn. De termen zijn sindsdien alleen maar meer verwaterd.
