How's your week going so far? Come sit down with me here on Pete's 2c on the Aussie English podcast!
In Pete's 2c episodes, I get on Instagram and answer your awesome questions!
In today's episode, I get to answer questions like where did Australian English come from, or like how Australian English came to be. Someone also asked how did English became a global language.
There were also some questions on English pronunciation like how to say the words "maths", "called" vs "cold", "shoes" vs "issues" and the word "kayaking".
Someone also asked if they can use the word "dedicated" to mean that someone is hardworking and disciplined - I say 'yes' to both!
And finally, someone asked what can be bought as an unusual gift for their grandson's 11th birthday! It's quite tough to answer that question, as I didn't really have much off the top of my mind.
Join me today for a round of casual talking here on Pete's 2c!
