The Point: Jesus will return one day, and we should be ready. 

Session Passage: 1 Thessalonians 4:16–5:8 

Life Connection: For many of us, when we want to know something, we want to know it now! We want every blank filled in and every detail explained. When we don’t know all the facts, we attempt educated guesses for what we don’t know. History is full of times when medical treatments and military strategies were based on educated guesses. When it comes to the return of Christ, no educated guess will do. We can read the signs, but we have to trust God for the actual timing.
