First Friday: Sing a New Song (Isaiah 42)

Jesus' commitment to justice is what led Him to the cross. To restore all things, He must first redeem all things. The cross was the beginning of a work that will end in Jerusalem with all things made new. The response to the "new things" that God is releasing is new songs from His people in the nations. These prophetic songs will provoke Jesus to action. These songs are the sound of His inheritance and of His coronation when He comes to sit on David's throne.
