In this episode, we explore God's next move: reconciling mankind to God through the ministry of the saints. This pivotal move is rooted in the purpose of Jesus' death, which was to grant eternal life to all who believe in Him. The Bible tells us that God sent His Son not to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through Him. God's desire is salvation, not condemnation or destruction.

 

Peter reminds us that God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance. This highlights God’s immense love for humanity. God's love is universal, extending to everyone, for God is love. Love is enduring pain for the gain of others, as demonstrated by Jesus' sacrifice. He lived with suffering and died an excruciating death to grant us eternal life.

 

The purpose of redemption was to reveal God's profound love for mankind. After accomplishing redemption, the next step is to maximize and utilize this redemption through reconciliation. This is God's fourth move, ensuring that the work of redemption is fully realized.

 

Reconciliation involves getting mankind involved in God’s redemptive work. Isaiah invites us to reason together with God, emphasizing partnership. God created man to share in His glory and enforce His will on earth. Without reconciliation, the purpose of redemption remains incomplete.

 

We praise God for our redemption and salvation, His greatest work on earth. Our partnership with God is essential, and the greatest move for the saints is the ministry of reconciliation. Just as God partnered with Adam, giving him the responsibility to name the animals, He calls us to partner with Him in His redemptive plan.

 

God wants us to be involved in His work, showing His love and desire for partnership. The ministry of reconciliation is given to every child of God, requiring us to be evangelists. How will people hear if no one preaches to them? Evangelism is crucial for reconciliation, as it spreads the message of salvation.
