Asking questions that give you a number answer can give you valuable insights and information. For example: On a scale of 1 - 10 how important is this to you? The answer to that question will tell you a lot about how they’re feeling and will give you a better understanding of their needs as person than if you just asked them to describe how important something was. There’s also another trick to give you a better understanding but you’re going to have to listen to find out what that is.
