Today, we sat down with returning guest Adam Smith, Founder and President of Alliance for Sensible Markets to discuss the news that Vice President Kamala Harris will be rolling out her plan for cannabis legalization. Adam conceptualized, co-wrote, and championed Oregon’s landmark 2019 interstate commerce law (on which the 2023 Washington law was also based) and helped write and advocated for California’s 2022 interstate law. His expertise and influence have been instrumental in shaping the legal landscape of cannabis in the United States.
