Silver Spoons: S5E3: The Live-In

Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Today, I covered S5E3: The Live-In, which aired on September 29, 1986. In this episode the Strattons hire a housekeeper who thinks Edward is love with her when it's actually Rick who's attracted to her. I enjoyed this episode but the reveal towards the end came out of left field for me and really made no sense, I mean I was expecting it, because of the synopsis but the housekeeper and Edward had next to no scenes together other than her interview. So basically, I'm guessing, all their interaction happened off screen then. Her infatuation was really bizarre with him, I mean, I get it, I find him attractive too and have said so on many numerous podcast episode occasions, but she literally jumped his bones right there in the livingroom and practically shoved her tongue down his throat. Kate could sense the Stratton men (her husband and stepson) were attracted as soon as Ingrid walked through the door, she was blond and had an accent. If I were Kate i would have made sure I was home while the housekeeper worked. Join me next week when I start covering double episodes: S5E4: Rick Sells His Sole, which aired on October 6, 1986.
