You need to know what is happening in the church as a marketing manager
Steven works with creative people to use their designs to feed the social marketing
Steven’s team does not request promotions typically but they will create content that is consistent with the voice and the brand of the church
Departments can contact the digital marketing team about promotions but Steven’s team determines what is worthy of being promoted
Churches need to understand who the audience is and what platform to use to reach them
The promotions are carefully targeted to only people who need to see them; not everyone should get every message
Steven recommends churches using push notifications with a phone application or WordPress plugin
Communicate the right thing to the right audience at the right time in the right way

Volunteers are used to helping with marketing by curating content, managing bookmarking sites, writing descriptions, and creating simple graphics
