No Man’s Land: One Month Before Free Agency

Here in February us Lions fans get a break from all of the packed news days we’ve had recently. Randy, Tom, and Rich bring this weeks @M66NDLP conversation knowing that the 2021 salary cap isn’t set and cap casualties are just beginning to trickle in, which makes it hard to speculate on in coming free agents. And because of this any draft talk is kind of premature. So, we continue buttoning up the coaching staff, talk about free agents Kenny Golladay and Okwara , and consider some needy positions on the roster. Our “Friend of the Show” Rocky tweeted at us this week. With a number of the national media picking the Lions to finish last in 2021 and only outliers predicting a quick turnaround, Rocky asks for our opinion on team building and the different scenarios involved with the Lions figuring out when to pull the trigger on a new QB. And as the Lions move on with that search it was announced that the Staffords left one more charitable gift as they left town.
