Why bless Israel? When God made the covenant with Abraham, He spoke the following, “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” – Genesis 12:3. God was not only referring to Abraham as an individual, He was also referring to Abraham’s descendants, which are the Jews.
