174: Integration is the Key

Integration is: ‘the organization of organic, psychological, or social traits and tendencies of a personality into a harmonious whole’ aka the coming together of separated parts into a unified whole

I truly believe integration is integral if you are doing any kind of healing work because when you are able to put together various aspects of your own experience, you can respond to your environment in a more effective way. For me, this leads to a stronger sense of well being 

It has helped me to restore meaning to certain events in my life and reclaim the wisdom of my inner experiences. I feel a sense of unity with my thoughts, feelings, and behaviours! It is so freeing!

And then once you have this inner integration of experiences, you can help bring your body into the picture by grounding in many different ways such as journaling, being out in nature, or moving your body!
