Today, we have somehow allowed the political environment to convince the entire world that moving to wind and solar is both human "progress" and "clean" for the planet, whatever that means. This is a fallacy, pure and simple! To the extent, man has been able to further civilization by extending life expectancy, medical technology, transportation improvements, food production, and many other metrics, it has been a story of harnessing and using energy. The energy story has been marked by a steady march toward an increase in energy density. The move toward wind and solar represents regress, a move in the direction of lower density sources of energy.
