Music:Music History
This is Play That Rock n' Roll's interview with author Anita Gevinson about her book "YOU TURN ME ON, I'M A RADIO... My Wild Rock 'N' Roll Life", which includes an account of her relationship with songwriter Warren Zevon.
In this conversation, we talk about why Anita decided to write the book, what it was like watching Warren record the Excitable Boy album with Jackson Browne, and how Warren's concerts changed over the years they were together. We also discuss some of her frustrations about how she and Warren were portrayed in Crystal Zevon's book "I'LL SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD: The Dirty Life and Times of Warren Zevon".
