A growth mindset is dependent on the science of neuroplasticity - the ability to change, grow & learn. Any time we do those 3 things, our brain changes shape. This is called neural retraining.
The ability to re-organize the structure of your brain is the principle behind unlearning chronic pain. If your beliefs limit you to your current mindset , then you will be trapped by your past and you will remain victim to your struggles, challenges & even your neuroplastic pain.
But a growth mindset does the exact opposite. It allows for neuroplasticity which allows us to unlearn our pain. The bible is full of invitations to grow & change & learn because He empowers us to be freed, shaped & changed. He tells us to be overcomers and courageous. So, this means that having a growth mindset is, in fact, basic groundwork for healing from chronic physical & emotional pain.
