Rich talks about his early days 'sticking it to the man' in the student newspaper to a first job writing obituaries, creating evangelistic characters through street preaching, working with a stellar Saturday Night Live cast, the seismic influence of the 1960s on politics, music and film, his love and study of Westerns, being an American comic in the UK, learning to play piano in his 40s, his Edinburgh festival experiences, and how daily exercise has been the staple part of his creative process.
