We begin today by celebrating Trump’s travel ban but also cautioning that he needs to expand it beyond data-sharing to vetting Sharia, anti-American beliefs. Next, we’re joined by economist Brian Wesbury for a discussion about inflation and the Trump reconciliation bill. Wesbury cuts through the gaslighting and excuses to show that the bill fails to deal with the fundamental issue of our time. Republicans have failed to convey to the American people how welfare and entitlements are both responsible for inflation and also depressing income. He offers us a crash course in economics that Republicans in Congress can sure use. He also believes that they are going about the tax cuts in a way that will not produce the growth they think it will.
