The Pacers Overcome Middleton’s 42, Anthony Edwards Dominates the Suns, Kawhi Looks Hobbled

Khris Middleton put up 42 to help the short-handed Bucks push the Pacers to OT, but Tyrese Halburton took over to lead Indiana to 121-118 win a 2-1 series lead over Milwaukee. The Suns are on the ropes, down 3-0 after Anthony Edwards put up 36 points, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert controlled the glass, and the entire Timberwolves defense put Phoenix's already jenky offense on tilt. And finally, the Mavericks took a 2-1 series lead with a 101-90 win over the Clippers. Luka Doncic offered a brief scare with an in-game knee injury, but the real scare is Kawhi Leonard, who's hobbling around and ineffective on both sides of the ball. Frankly, it's worth asking whether he's actually helping or hurting L.A. in this series against Dallas.
