Mayim Bialik & the Women Who Changed ‘The Big Bang Theory’

Mayim Bialik and the first female writer on “The Big Bang Theory,” Maria Ferrari, join Jessica Radloff to discuss how Amy Farrah Fowler and Bernadette changed the series forever. Mayim recalls going from raising two young children to suddenly joining one of television’s biggest sitcoms, while Maria shares what it was like watching Mayim bring Amy to life for the very first time. They also reveal why the writers felt they’d never “run out of jokes” for Amy and Sheldon, and Mayim explains the unexpected concern she had before signing on as a series regular: what it would mean for her Ph.D. students.
