“Skinny fat” sounds like a paradox. How can you be both skinny and fat at the same time? Easy: have too little muscle and too much body fat. It doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, of course, but hey, some of us just don’t want to be skinny fat. And we don’t have to be if we do three simple things: 1. Do a lot of heavy compound weightlifting. 2. Get our calories and macros right. 3. Don’t do too much cardio. These steps apply equally to men and women, too.
