I cannot help but mention the evil NAZI Major Arnold Toht whose face melted when opening the ark in the Indiana Jones movie.  Today's passage is exactly the opposite of death and face melting.  

God grants a new privilege for believers in heaven: it is the ability to SEE HIS FACE and not die.
