NC Governor Puts Politics Over Student Safety

North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein has vetoed a bill allowing private schools to approve trained and vetted staff and volunteers to carry concealed firearms for student safety, arguing that the private schools are better off having to wait for first responders to arrive in the case of an active attack on campus.
