Striptease (1996)

We finally opened up our little video rental shop that's totally above board and legit, we promise. This entire month at the shop is Janksgiving where we're handing you only the stalest, jankiest, and not-so-perfect movies that maybe deserve another look. This week, we're taking a look at 1996's Striptease starring Demi Moore, Burt Reynolds, Armand Assante, and Ving Rhames. Directed by Andrew Bergman, the movie shattered records (at the time) with Moore taking quite the pay day that sparked a lot of heated discourse at the time. Find out whether it deserves a spot on our coveted must-watch shelf, if it's destined for the dreaded middle aisle where no one goes or if it just winds up in the dumpster out back.
