3/18: Dozens of tornadoes tear through the South. New details on the Atlanta-area spa killings.

Storms hammered communities from Texas all the way to Georgia, and many are now waking up to a difficult reality this morning. Nearly two dozen tornadoes were reported, especially in Mississippi and Alabama. On the attacks around Atlanta that killed eight people on Tuesday, including six Asian women, one police spokesman is taking criticism for his public response, as investigators say they're not sure if the attacks targeted Asians. We have new details breaking overnight about the arrest of a man on a weapons charge outside Vice President Kamala Harris's official residence. Russia has called its U.S. ambassador back to Moscow after President Biden confirmed that he thinks President Vladimir Putin is "a killer.” President Biden's homeland security secretary told lawmakers on Capitol Hill the situation on the southern border is "difficult," but he wouldn't call it a crisis.
