The Golden Knights fell to the Kings in a four-point game in Los Angeles Tuesday night, 4-2. The Kings drew to within three points of VGK with the win in the Pacific Division Standings. The Golden Knights Michael Amadio scored his third goal in three games for VGK and Braydon McNabb lit the lamp for the first time in 46 games. Both had played for the Kings in the past. VGK lost defenseman Alec Martinez after he was hit by an Alex Iafallo slapshot on his right ankle in the first period. He did not return and will be evaluated Wednesday. Daniil Miromanov was out of the game for a spell after he was hit with a puck in his face. He returned to action. The Kings Iafallo netted the game-winner in the third period after Mark Stone lost an edge which keyed a 3 on 1 rush. The Kings added an ENG to secure the win. VGK is back in action tonight against a reeling Anaheim team. John Gibson, who has 15 losses against the Golden Knights, most for any opponent, is expected to be in net tonight as he returns from an undisclosed injury. We talk about Laurent Brossoit, who is making the most of his comeback from two surgeries, with the AHL Silver Knights.
