It’s not uncommon for tragedy to bring people together. There’s a feeling of “I’m not alone” that can be both healing and empowering. And can even spark the most miraculous shifts in life. Jessica Cordova Kramer can attest to that. She’s a former Wall Street lawyer and podcast producer who lost her brother after a long battle with addiction. And when she heard fellow podcaster Stephanie Whittels Wachs share her own story of loss, after her brother died from an overdose, a bond was created…and then some.
Together these women have gone on to create Lemonada Media, a podcast network that Jessica says, is on a mission “to make shows that help people get out of bed in the morning, that help people deal with the hardest sh*t in their real lives.”
On this episode of HIListically Speaking, Jessica shares more about the humor behind the healing and the journey from lemons to lemonade.
