Telling Human Stories in Film with Fiz Olajide

Fiz’s favorite movie is Coming to America, which has influenced the stories that she chooses to tell by including beautiful cinematography that’s filled with richness. Olajide didn’t go to traditional film school—she studied psychology in college and wanted to be a forensic psychologist because she loved true crime, which led to her stepping into the TV world where she started at a TV shopping channel. From there she started working for MTV and eventually found her way to a documentary company.
