She’s a doctoral candidate and instructor in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising, and Interiors at the University of Georgia. She is passionate about sustainability and mental health awareness, and her current research examines how fashion education can be enhanced by using sustainability to frame historical inquiry, placing unsustainable ideas, practices, and systems within broader historical contexts. 
In this episode, we speak with her about bringing together history and sustainability through her research, the interesting connection between the two, and how history can make the fashion industry more sustainable.
