Join Jennie and Kate as they dive into the root of our emotions and talk about how our emotions connect us to ourselves, to others, and to God. This week our hope is you remember and believe emotions are gifts from the Lord and we need to process and listen to those emotions.

MAIN POINTS: 

• Where and how we learn emotions are good or bad.
• The enemy wants to use emotions to separate us from God, BUT God wants to step into that space of emotions to move us toward the fullness of life
• You were not built to feel these emotions alone, you were built to do this community 
• Helpful exercise: When you experience an emotion, go back and imagine the first time you felt that emotion. Then, ask “Lord, what do you want me to know? What do you want me to see? Why am I resistant to this emotion? Where did I pick this up?”
