Join Fr. Aaron & Marissa Burt for this week's episode, in which they consider the readings for the Proper 17, Year B in the Lectionary cycle: Song of Solomon 2:8-13 & Psalm 45:1-2, 7-10 or Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 6-9 & Psalm 15; James 1:17-27; Mark 7:1-8, 14-15, 21-23.

They discuss approaches to interpreting Song of Solomon & Psalm 45, James' metaphor of a mirror & exhortation regarding "true religion" and Jesus' words regarding external purification and inner defilement.
