We don’t learn physical skills through our ears

Sometimes coaches spend a lot of time talking about how to improve a skill or handle a situation. Talking can be helpful if it paints a picture for the recipient so that they can visualize it, otherwise it is of minimal benefit. The message is - spend more time performing the skills than talking about them. And learn how to explain things better.
