Day of the Dead - FRANCHISED

"First there was 'Night of the Living Dead' then 'Dawn of the Dead' and now the darkest day of horror the world has ever known..." This week on FRANCHI$ED hosts Jonathan Foster, Ariane Anantaputri & Fil Freitas hold up in a military bunker with a group of scientists trying to figure out how to rid the world of the flesh-eating zombies. With the soldiers meant to be protecting them getting impatient and the lead scientist trying to teach zombies to talk, the crew are about to witness all hell break loose!

We've battled the Night and we've battled the Dawn (twice)! Now it's time to battle George A. Romero's underrated 1985 horror classic DAY OF THE DEAD! Often seen as the lesser of Romero's original trilogy, we dive into one of the most interesting and under-appreciated zombie films ever made.

Join us as we shine light on this claustrophobic film, that once again features some of the best make-up effects around from the master Tom Savini, and introduces the world to Greg Nicotero – who has gone on to be heavily involved in The Walking Dead.
