Di McDonald and her former husband parted ways and divorced in 2013.

After a while Di thought about dipping her toes into the dating scene, but she didn’t need to, as a customer at her workplace had seen her and was very taken with her.

He persisted and eventually they went out for coffee and she found she really liked him. He was charming, attentive, a gentleman and ‘quite sweet’ is how she described him.

But he couldn’t mask his true personality.

Di had unfortunately met a narcissist.
