Acts 6:1-7 - Sermon

As the church in Jerusalem grows, the leaders of the early church must determine how to best meet the needs of the community around them. Through delegating care responsibilities to other mature believers, the church continues to flourish and make sure that all shared resources are distributed as needed. Our church today faces these same challenges. There are needs in our community that must be met by mature believers willing to step into leadership roles. Do you meet the qualifications in Acts 6 to care for the community around you? Are you taking advantage of your gifts to meet those needs? How can you grow in these areas?
