India is Untouchable

With H1-B visas in the news in the United States, newly elected U.S. Representative Jayant Bhandari chimed in regarding Indian culture and society several months ago. His take-away from having been born and raised there: India has rejected Christian and Western mores and reverted to an amoral, apathetic culture. The individual cannot advance nor flourish in post-colonial India because values and virtues including honor, industry and justice are seldom present, much less operative.

Oak Park has hired a Richied look-a-like (or is it really him, leading quite the hypocritical, alternative life?!) as their new Commissar of Public Health. The resemblance really is uncanny. River Forest moves to advance even more municipal totalitarianism.
