The Crow Who Knew Everything

This story is also called "The Crow and the Lake" and it tells the story of a city crow who, observing a marsh crow fishing, believes he can easily replicate the skill. Ignoring warnings, he attempts to fish alone and drowns. This Jataka tale teaches the dangers of overconfidence, the importance of recognizing one's limitations, and the value of heeding advice from those with experience.
