Alex McDonald is in the team behind White Box Enterprises whose mission is to "Create 5000 jobs for young disadvantaged Australians by 2030".  Prior to this Alex was involved in setting up the Big Issue which enables homeless people to publish and distribute their own magazine.   

Alex was also involved in the management team of Body Shop Australia, the first corporation  intent on sourcing cosmetics that did not use animal testing.
