Dr. Petersen specializes in healthcare innovation, clinical and business operations, process optimization, health management, wellness and prevention, care value, and healthcare technologies, such as clinical analytics, electronic health records and health information systems. As a seasoned physician executive, he has more than 15 years of clinical experience as an emergency medicine pediatrician at SSM Health System, St. Luke’s Hospital and Barnes-Jewish St. Peter's Hospital, where he spent five years as the chief of pediatrics.
