Totally Extra: West Ham 06/07 - Tevez, Mascherano, Pards & Curbs

Jimbo opens the Totally Almanac in 2006 and is joined by Duncan Alexander, Benji Lanyado and special guest Alan Curbishley to discuss an unforgettable West Ham season.

It was the tale of two Alan's and two Argentinians with Alan Pardew sacked, Alan Curbishley brought in and Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano pitching up in East London to almost everyone's suprise. A baptism of fire for the new Icelandic owners as the club eventually pulled off the great escape on the final day by completing a double against the champions Man Utd.

Curbishley tells Jimbo about the pivotal moment he sat down with Tevez and his interpretor to inspire his season saving goals. It didn't end there though with Sheffield United taking them to court over the Tevez and Mascherano deal and Curbishley leaving, never to manage again.
