In brief, I’m a nurse, licensed massage therapist, holistic health and life coach, certified mindfulness meditation teacher and mentor, certified medical Qi gong practitioner and teacher, Jin Shin Jyutsu (light touch acupressure, or “acupuncture without needles”) practitioner and certification program instructor, and creator of somatic energy medicine (SEM) practices and techniques. But it’s just as important for you to get to know me as a person because we will be partnering to harness your healing power in any area of your life you choose – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relationships, career, money, and more. And that’s very personal. ​ I’ve dedicated my life to helping people, and I’m passionate about integrating the eastern healing traditions with evidence-based science. Why? In my work as an ICU, OR, and cancer care nurse, I’ve seen a lot of sickness and suffering. I instinctively knew there was a better way than this “sickness” care, so I embarked on a life-long journey of discovery. I’m now committed to sharing what I’ve learned (and continue to learn) with you so you can live your best life. Conventional medicine has many benefits, but I’ve also seen it “miss the mark” in understanding that people are more than their body parts. The time-honored eastern healing traditions have understood this for thousands of years. That’s why they are successful in ways conventional medicine just isn’t. Together, they can unlock a powerhouse of natural healing within your own body, mind, and spirit. I know because I’ve been there and back.
