Today we are taking the first step into launching action to change the governance of the majority shareholder of the Wests Tigers, the Holman Barnes Group (HBG). This action commenced after the HBG board (controlled by Magpies die-hards Julie Romero and Dennis Burgess) dragged its feet over introducing and adopting the full recommendations from the external review into the governance of the Wests Tigers. We fought so hard for that review in 2023 and it only came about because you supported our petition.  This time, we intend to make our action much bigger and louder than the Wests Tigers Podcast and we will be calling on all Wests Tigers social and media outlets to support this action, potentially under the banner of 'Wests Tigers Unite'. Make sure you catch this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast to get a better idea of what is happening at the HBG. We also discuss the importance of making our campaign bigger and bolder than our 2023 action. And we outline exactly what it is that we want to achieve, and why it is so important for the Wests Tigers that these changes are made. We intend to launch the petition in the coming days, it will be available on the home page of the Wests Tigers Podcast website and will also be shared on our Facebook group and the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.
